About JPCS

The Junior Philippine Computer Society - Eastern Visayas State University Ormoc Campus Chapter (JPCS-EVSU OCC) is the official organization of BSIT students in the Computer Studies Department.

Its domicile is the Computer Studies Department of EVSU Ormoc Campus, and it is governed by the 2025 Edition Constitution and By-Laws.

2025 Edition

Constitution Highlights

Membership Guidelines

Open to BSIT students who uphold the mission and complete the application. Membership fee is PHP 125 per semester (PHP 50 national, PHP 75 local).

Member Rights

Right to be informed, participate, vote, and access resources. Financial aid available up to PHP 1,000 (students) and PHP 5,000 (faculty) with repayment terms.

Member Duties

Participate in activities, pay dues, uphold values, respect peers, and maintain transparency in financial obligations.

Organization Structure

Executive Board (core officers), year-level representatives, and committees support chapter governance and operations.

Governance and Meetings

Regular meetings are held twice a month with quorum and minutes. Elections are held annually in early August with eligibility standards.

Accountability

Sanctions apply for non-compliance, and officers may be removed through due process. Succession and appeals are defined for continuity.
